Postponed: Philadelphia Area Environmental Justice Curriculum Hub Co-Working Event

ONLINE EVENT

PAEJCH logo

This workshop is a collaborative co-working opportunity for educators at any level who are committed to engaging questions of environmental justice in their classrooms. The goal of this session is to share curricular materials, to connect and exchange ideas with other teachers, and to offer feedback on ways that PPEH can help connect Philadelphia-area educators.

In advance of the workshop, we invite interested participants to visit the Philadelphia Area Environmental Justice Curriculum Hub, a digital archive of environmental justice curricular materials that is currently in development, and to submit a course text, lesson plan, syllabus or other item to the Hub. All material relevant to the teaching of questions of environmental justice are welcome.

There will be time during the session for each participant to describe what they submitted to the Hub, to ask questions of other educators, and to offer feedback on future directions for the Hub. While we invite you to submit any relevant materials in advance of the workshop, if you would prefer to attend without submitting, you are very welcome to do so.

This session will be facilitated by EJ Hub co-curators and 2020-2021 PPEH graduate fellows Andrew Niess and Davy Knittle. Please contact director@ppehlab.org with any questions.

Postponed until Spring 2022! Check back for new date.
