Call for Applications: Faculty Research and Teaching Seed Fund 2018-2019
October 9, 2018
For the second year, the Penn Program in Environmental Humanities invites faculty to apply for Research and Teaching Seed Funds in support of projects that speak to PPEH's core commitments. These seed funds are meant to support initiatives intended to grow into opportunities for student involvement in the environmental humanities, including both coursework and research. Projects proposed by Penn Faculty build toward new courses in Environmental Humanities, and also are used to develop public engagement tools and/or innovative research projects. This includes conference planning support, specialized student or pedagogical projects, civic or community collaborations, exhibitions, and/or digital projects. Faculty interested in applying may want to attend PPEH Seed Fund "Shoots and Sprouts" roundtables, featuring reports from 2017-2018 seed fund recipients delivered over breakfast in the Wolf Humanities Center Conference Room (Williams 623), November 1 and 15. Applications for 2018-2019 funds accepted beginning November 1, 2018. Application details here.
