Working Wednesdays

Working Wednesdays Header with purple field and pencils and binder clips

PPEH offers a lunch series, Working Wednesdays, designed to showcase in-progress Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR) straddling theoretical and practical environmental concerns with a focus on our mid-Atlantic region. These sessions take place on Wednesdays, 12:30-1:30 sharp.

In 2022-23 (and beyond), we are building a full slate of programming for our Working Wednesdays works-in-progress series. This year, the series’ focus remains squarely on environmental and climate justice, with the hope of continuing the work to connect regional experts–both academically and community-based–in the fields of energy, air, land, and water justices. This programming spotlights critical new work in these fields, in collaboration with our inaugural cohort of Affiliated Researchers and their Community Partners. Working Wednesdays also work in hand-in-hand with our ongoing initiatives.
