A Ph.D. candidate in English at Penn, Aylin is primarily interested in the relationship between late medieval literature and the history of scientific knowledge about the natural world, as well as the uses of the premodern past in evaluating the current ecological crisis.

Maria is majoring in Environmental Anthropology with minors in Ancient History and Music. These interests help her analyze climate change from cultural, historical, and biological perspectives.

Brandon Nguyen is a junior from Toronto, Canada studying Political Science in the college and Environmental Policy & Management in Wharton.

I’m a second year Graduate Student in the International Educational Development Program interested in the intersection of languages and culture, education, and environmental stewardship.
